Make it Easy for Shoppers to Choose You!

by Kevin W. 10. May 2008 09:45

When you go shopping online how frustrating is it when so many websites look the same and seem to have similar offerings and you find it hard to make a choice or you just can't find what you are looking for?

If you are anything like me the answer is Very Frustrating!

My question to you is how frustrating is it for your prospects shopping your RV Dealership website? Do you look like everyone else? Do you make it difficult for shoppers to find exactly what they are looking for?

How are your prospects supposed to make a decision to contact your dealership when all thier options are similar? What will be the determining factor between your site and your competitor's site? What makes you different?

At InteractRV one of our goals is to make RV Dealer websites that are unique and have what it takes to make the difference over your competition. Here are some things to consider when trying to differentiate yourself from other RV Dealers:

  • Good SEO Practices - Attract visitors and prospects by practicing good search engine optimization. Don't be tempted by shady ideas and scams to get your website ranked high. Good SEO takes time and plays by the rules.
  • Expand Your Offerings - With tools from InteractRV you can easily display every possible floor plan or model you can sell on your website. Don't limit your dealership to what you have on your lot. However, be careful not to give the impression you have everything in physical inventory.
  • Become Their Expert- Prospects don't typically shop from a list, so don't limit your website to just listing your inventory. Give your visitors the right tools to help them find exactly what they are looking for. Good search options, floor plan styles, and listing specs is start. Earn their confidence and become their expert.
  • Keep In Touch - Your customers and website visitors are the best source of information to learn what is working and what isn't on your website. Don't rely on your sales staff or even your website design company. Ask your customers!

Whatever you do, don't keep your website similar to your competitors. If you do, you will get lost in the crowd.
