Lately some RV Dealers started noticing that some RV's didn't have a RVIA Seal 'of Approval' on them. They began to wonder ... what could it all mean ... is the sky falling?
They sky isn't falling ... that we know of ... but the RV Trade Digest blog does a good job explaining the in's and out's of the RVIA Seal. Once you read the article you'll understand the Seal or Whale title of this blog post ... is it small like a seal or large like a whale?
While this might not seem to have much to do with marketing ... it does have a customer communication factor angle ... and after all aren't marketing and communication tied together at many levels?
Does the RV buyer need to know the skinny on the RVIA Seal issue? We do our best to take the high-ground here at IRV and do suggest that maybe in a frequently asked questions section or a news page on your site might be the proper place to mention something of this sort.
Is it a huge issue? No. Will it affect your prospects buying decision? Probably not.
It's always better to be open and honest with folks and educate them on the truth. If you are selling a RV without the RVIA Seal you might want to explain it up-front.
Until next time...
